What is the measurement of each of the exterior angles of a regular pentagon? I cant find it anywhere!

Parth (parthkohli):

I'd use my logic for this one ;) Do you know that the sum of exterior angles in ANY polygon is \(360^{\circ}\)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah I found that so the formula would be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

360 divided by 5 broseph

Parth (parthkohli):

Okay, so a regular pentagon has five equal exterior angles. Then that means that one exterior angle is \(\dfrac{360}{5}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the answer is 72?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright got it thanks!

Parth (parthkohli):

Yes :) Good luck!
