Let f(x)=3-4x..... find x when f(x)=-2... I know the answer is -1.25, or I hope it is.. But how do you get that answer?

3-4x=-2
subtract by -3 on both sides?
-4x=-5
divide by -4? -5/-4... It gives me 1.25.. The answer should be -1.25 right? @ajprincess thanks for your help btw
