Determine P(cos 225°, sin 225°) on the unit circle. Verify that x2 + y2 = 1.

OpenStudy (raden):

obviously, because x=rcos(Θ), and y=rsinΘ (in this case : r=1, Θ=225) so, just show that cos^2 225 + sin^2 225 = 1 it is an identity in trigono right ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah I think so. I just started working on this and my teacher didnt really go into it alot and it has to be turned in by today.

OpenStudy (raden):

ok, happy studying for today :)
