Complete Sentence + Comma + Complete Sentence (with no FANBOYS after the comma)= Comma Splice. FANBOYS (Coordinating Conjunctions that join two sentences)= For And Nor But Or Yet So

yes it needs a conjunction so that it does not contain a run on error...or you could just put in a conjunctive adverb or eve a colon would work... any of these options would make it a complete sentence.. that does not ontain errors
