That's the algorithm that derives the day of the week.You don't need to understand what it means; unless your into math.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeller%27s_Algorithm i am not sure that it uses exactly the same formula, but the concept is the same. perhaps you can find better by googling. it's not exactly intuitively obvious...

Thanks but I had already checked out the formula and thought it would be easier if some of you fine people could explain this one. Anyway I'll google some more then come back if I don't get any. Yes!
