Diction is like a way of saying something. For instance if you have good diction, you use really good grammar and vocabulary. Here's the definition; choice of words especially with regard to correctness, clearness, or effectiveness.

Thanks!  Do you have any good examples?  For the exam, some will be on definitions, others will be sort of a: "Large, leaping lizards lollygagged" WHich literary element is used, and the answer would be, of course, alliteration.
