2(x-1)^4 + 7(x-1)^2 - 4 = 0 I set z = (x-1)^2 and then did: 2z^2 + 7z -4 = 0 Not quite sure how to do this. After putting it through the quadratic i get z = 1/2 or z = -4 What next?
