There is another way that I find easier...maybe you will too...
First let me give you a helpful tip for math problems that contain the word " of ".
" of " in math problems means multiply, just like " is " in math problems means equals. So write the problem like it is written...325 % of 82 = 325% x 82. Now turn your percent into a decimal. I will show you how....325% ...take your percent and move it two places to the left, and turn it into a decimal. That is how you turn percents into decimals. 325% = 3.25 (you see how I moved it two spaces to the left). Now your problems reads 3.25 x 82. Now you just multiply.
Also, not that it has anything to do with this problem, if you wanted to turn a decimal into a percent, you do just the opposite....you move your decimal two spaces to the right and turn it into a percent....example : 7.04 = 704% (you see how I moved it two spaces to the right. . I would much rather deal with decimals then fractions.

If I am seeing it correctly, it is asking 325% of 82. Translating this into a mathematical equation would mean 325 x 82 = 26650.
