suppose that everyday you save twice as many pennies as you saved the day before. You start by saving one penny on Janurary 1. how much money will you have in all by Janurary 10th?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have no clue

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is really hard

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anyone know the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y=0.5*2^x\] x = days

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how much money will you have by jan 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how many days are there from 1st to 10th? Plot the number in to the equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean 8th

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh ok forget the equation then. If I have 1 penny on day one, and 2 pennies on day two, and 4 pennies on day three.. Do this all the way to the 10th. You have to double the amount of pennies for each day!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so on day four it would be 4+4 = 8 on the fifth day it would be 8 + 8 = 16...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OKAY

A good way to appreciate the help you are getting is not touching the Caps Lock key on your keyboard.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my keyboard is broke and i have to hold the shift button down to type i accdently forgot to hold it down so next time you should ask first
