Evolutionary adaptations that help diverse organisms exchange gases with their environment include all of the following except (2 points) air sacs that take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide in marine and terrestrial invertebrates. moist, semipermeable membranes necessary for diffusion to occur in any organism. stomata in plant leaves that can open and close to regulate gas exchange and water loss. well-developed circulatory systems in vertebrates that carry gases to and from body cells

OpenStudy (athenawolf):

wouldn't that be the 2nd one, since all the others actually involve gas exchange and the 2nd is essentially talking about cell membranes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It was the first one, but thank you for trying ! :)

OpenStudy (athenawolf):

Darn, sorry. :\
