Choose the system of equations which matches the following graph. 3x + 7y = 7 5x + 7y = -63 3x + 7y = 7 5x - 7y = -63 3x - 7y = 7 5x + 7y = -63 3x - 7y = 7 5x - 7y = -63

hmm, wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok:) I thought it was a or b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We can eliminate options C & D easily :) as when we put x = 0, we get y = -1, which is not correct as per graph :). So, it is either A or B. And, to determine which one of A or B, we need to try some values of "x" into equtions and values of "y" and them match with the graph :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay :)))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer i got was A :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, I got it, the answer is B :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is a trick if u see the graph, both lines are intersecting at the value of x = -7, and give the value of y as 4 :). gotach???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

awwww omg you are SOOOOOOOOO amazing:))))))))))))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

See??? :D. When we put x = -7, then we get y = 4, which is possible only with option B :)

thanks<3
