Can you just check my answer? Light travels 300,000,000 m/s, and one year has approximately 32,000,000 seconds. A light year is the distance light travels in one year. State this distance in centimeters. I'm assuming that this is asking the distance light travels. Well I multiplied 32,000,000*300,000,000 and got 9.6x10^(15). Putting that into centimeters gave me 9.6x10^(17). However, all of the answers I am allowed to choose from are in 1x10^x. So I guess they rounded the 9.6 to 10, but when put in sci. notation it looks like 1. So would that make my answer 1x10^(17)? I would think so beca
