OpenStudy (nurali):

Question 6 Assume that in the circuit above, V0=10V, T=1ms, Rw=2Ω, Lw=1mH and RL=3Ω. What is the time constant (in milliseconds) associated with the rise of voltage vR? What is the time constant (in milliseconds) associated with the fall of voltage vR? What is the value of Vmax in Volts? What is the value of Vmin in Volts?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Nurali : for part a n b) time constant=(Lw)/(Rw+Rl)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@akash97 , what about other parts ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@chaand.i : i dont know.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

go to circuit sandbox and make the circuit there take f=500hz square wave and run a transient for 5ms and get the answer!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jason10 : ma data is like dat V0=5V, T=1ms, Rw=1Ω, Lw=1mH and RL=1Ω. dan plz write ma ans n formula if possible

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hi, V0=5, T=0.1ms, RW=1, Lw=0.5mH, Rl=4, write answer pliz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did it using sand box but m not getting the right answer....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@akash97 :got ur ans? @brash :got ur answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jason10 : not at ol help me to take me out of dis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

write ur values here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jason10: V0=5V, T=1ms, Rw=1Ω, Lw=1mH and RL=1Ω. Tell me ans n method if possible

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for akash97 vmax=4.384 v vmin=0.601v

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for ezekiel or whatever that is... vmax=2.912v vmin=1.088v

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is eziekles rise and fall

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jason10 : still getting wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@akash97 :impossible man!i hav checked it1 maybe there's some typo!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ jason10 can you write the formula plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no formula, simulation!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@akash97 :i gave ezek the answer, his r right1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jason10 can you say what the rise and fall it is for eziekels please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@e_zek_iel : have u got green marks on Q6 problems?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ jason10 aha sry okay what about this specification plz Vo=5v ,T= 0.5ms , Rw=3 , Lw =1mH , Rl = 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@e_zek_iel what were your answer for part 1 and 2 of question 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did u got the answer???? plz tell the method..... @e_zek_iel ?????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u ave to make the circuit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have used sand box but m not getting the right answer... kindly tell if anyone got the right answer.... what's the trick in it coz i have used 2 checks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jason10 tell me the values for Vo=10V, T=1ms, Rw= 2 ohms, Lw=1mH, Rl=3 ohms.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did u get these values????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Nurali kindly tell the method and values for Vo=10V, T=0.5ms, Rw= 1 ohms, Lw=0.5mH, Rl=4 ohms.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@WAK do you have values ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have solved tha question,,,,, tell me your values n i'll give u the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@WAK the same as yours

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u write the answer in general so that ppl can plug in their own value and check fr themselves?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did it on software... just use sandbox of MITx....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same here and it works! i dunno y sum ppl couldn't get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Vo=10V, T=0.5ms, Rw= 1 ohms, Lw=0.5mH, Rl=4 ohms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Assume that in the circuit above, V0=5V, T=1ms, Rw=1Ω, Lw=1mH and RL=1Ω. please help vmax=4.384 - wrong vmin=0.601 - wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@WAK i do something wrong XD could you give answers :>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

V0=5V, T=1ms, Rw=1Ω, Lw=1mH and RL=1Ω. 0.5 0.5 4.328 0.67 all correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@e_zek_iel i have errors in 6a) and 6b) 6c) 7.942 (good one) and 6d) also error

OpenStudy (anonymous):

halp!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@PlayHard u sure abt these answers? the Vmax is wrong for me.. 4.328 we have the same values

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@dancios @wap 0.1 a, b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can someone tell the last two parts for Vo=10V, T=1ms, Rw= 2 ohms, Lw=1mH, Rl=3 ohms ? The sandbox not helping (5.518 , 0.477) not green :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

V0=10 T=.5, Rw=1 Lw=0.5 Rl=4 last part from sandbox is 0v, but marked wrong (Vmax 8 OK0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

V0=5V, T=0.5ms, Rw=1Ω, Lw=1mH and RL=1Ω.
