2 similar trapizoids LMCD and ABLM using the ratios of corresponding sides \[\frac{LM}{DC} = \frac{AB}{LM}\] or \[\frac{LM}{125} = \frac{46}{LM}\] just cross multiply and solve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats all you do?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait im kinda confused...can you do it step by step?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

this is the way they look |dw:1356036555596:dw| the trapizoids are similar so match the corresponding sides when you get the ratio shown, just cross multiply \[LM^2 = 125 \times 46\] and then solve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you do it the way this person does it... the answer would be 75.83 approx.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is there a different way to do this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think. and sorry for the late reply
