Let f (x) =-5x -4 and g(x) =6x -7. Find f(x) + g(x). –11x + 3 x + 3 –11x – 11 x – 11

you just have to add them together. so f(x) + g(x) in this case is simply (6-5)x + (-4-7). this gives you: \[f(x) + g(x) = x-11\]
