When does the sporophyte stalk of a moss begin to grow? CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP I HAVE HAD TO BRING DOWN MY OTHER QUESTION THAT WAS ON HERE FOR 12 DAYS PLEASE !!!!

I've never looked into this before, so I'm learning as I go.

It appears sporophytes are developed from the zygote (egg) after meoisis during sexual reproduction in mosses. Additional cells form and elongate into a "foot", with one end anchored onto the gametophyte and the other end into a seta (the stalk) which bears a capsule of spores.
