area=length * height

OpenStudy (vortish):

its right a monomial that equals the sum of all the areas

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well it wants a monomial from us,one expression,the area of a square as @optiquest told is length*height,here the picture tells us that height & length are the same,not only in the first but also in the second and equals:\[C \times C \iff C^2\]so the sum of the two squares is:\[C^2+C^2\] that equals:\[2C^2\]now we have that f**kin monomial!we just put 10 instead of C:\[2C^2 \iff 2(10)^2=200\]see?now look at each square and put 10 instead of C,the area of the first and second one separately is:\[C \times C \iff 10 \times 10 = 100\]and now add em:\[200!\]hope it helps you and hope you succeed in the test coming up.

OpenStudy (vortish):

appreciate the help
