In triangle DEF, sides DE and DF are both 6 feet 3 inches long. This length is 0.75 times the length of side FE. What type of triangle is DEF and what is its perimeter?

Two sides are 75 inches and the third side is (75)(4/3) = 100 inches for a perimeter of 75 + 75 + 100 = 250 inches. It's an isosceles triangle because you have to sides equal and one that is not. Also, 250 inches is 20 feet, 10 inches.
