In triangle DEF, sides DE and DF are both 6 feet 3 inches long. This length is 0.75 times the length of side FE. What type of triangle is DEF and what is its perimeter?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Two sides are 75 inches and the third side is (75)(4/3) = 100 inches for a perimeter of 75 + 75 + 100 = 250 inches. It's an isosceles triangle because you have to sides equal and one that is not. Also, 250 inches is 20 feet, 10 inches.
