21. What is your opinion of technology and its impact on our lives? Does technology improve or detract from our lives? Write an essay of at least two paragraphs. State your opinion and support it with at least three examples from the selections you have read in this unit.

Well how does technology help us? We have gps, and we can contact people from around the would in a few seconds, and so much more. you could write a paragraph (usually 4-5 sentences, so it's not too hard) about how it helps us. But what are it's disadvantages? Well kids today are wasting their lives watching tv, playing on xboxes or wiis or on their phones. Some kids get behind on school because of being distracted from these electronics. so you could write a paragraph about the good qualities and another on on their disadvantages. sorry i wrote so much.. hope this helped!

There are two sides to technology. It makes our lives better in the sense that everything is so much more convenient, it brings us closer to people, getting in touch is easy with a click of a button. For example,the email. But the irony in it is, as we communicate and get closer to people, we get further from them as well, we lose touch. We are more removed from the real world, since it's so convenient to get in touch, the need to see and meet people in real life is somewhat decreased as well.
