Was the Articles of Confederation based on the principle of separation of powers?

no they the principle was evident but not the basis of the articles

It was based upon forming a seperate union apart from england; It wasn't based on establishing a seperation of powers because at the time they were under British control. They had no say. It was based upon leaving zbritish control and forming their own union. Once this union was created, then we worked on establishing the seperation of powers.
