guys i need help. I know all the things abour derivates and i have calculus1's 2nd midterm. And i'm not sure about something. For example if there is a question about derivating, should i use formulas like f(x+h) - f(x) / h or can i just type the answer? What do you think about how the teacher thinks?

have you guys learned the short form yet? if so, then you can probably just write the answer, but it might be risky. i think that if you can, you should write everything out

I was not sure but i asked my friend what did they do in class. I did not join the class. He said even integral is over. I think i can write the answer. Otherwise, formulas are so complicated, i know the way but i can make mistakes with that excite. Thanks for replying :)

i think that you wont need to write out the full f(x+h) - f(x) / h formula, but i think you should show your work when you use the other method

If the question mentions solving by definition, then you need to show the whole work!
