Transpiration is the process where plants loses water through the small pores on the leaves called stoma. Water is absorbed from the roots and escapes through the leaves, this makes the plant turgid and healthy from all the minerals in the soil. When there's no water, the plant continues transpiration until the water content in the plant is too low, plant cells loses its turgidity and the cell begins to weaken.
