hi Jithinkv, the for the last two parts, x=(5*20)/(2*59) im getting x=50/59(without the negative) doing it your way but that isnt in the questions answers, only yours is, so you recommend me going with it? thanks again for detailing how you come up with it, it really helped

oops i left out the negative sign for 59/20
x=(5*20) / (2*(-59))
now x will be negative
