Solve the inequality: j/4-8<4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

j/4 < 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

j<48

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As with before, get j on it's own, by adding 8 to both sides, so j/4<12 Then, since j/4 is j divided by 4, you TIMES by 4 to get rid of that annoying fraction! So by timesing both sides by 4, you get j<12x4, which makes j<48! Make sense?
