During the renaissance there was a lust for knowledge that hadn't been seen for a long time. Men were suddenly interested once more in mathematics, science, medicine, and everything which could be used to better life itself. We once again began to turn to science as a logical and rational way of guiding humanity as opposed to looking to the church for all the answers and there was hundreds of advancements in geometry, engineering, chemistry, astronomy, and more. The things we learned during the renaissance have changed the world and made us what we are today.
