How did Japan's relations with China and Korea develop after the Mongol invasions? A wary truce developed between the three nations. War between the three nations became constant. The balance of power was shifted in Japan's favor. Japan became even more isolationist than it had been.

1) D through diplomacy and military conquest; they basically went and killed anyone who got in their way and didnt convert to Islam 2) D; Japan became even more isolated than before; Japan at the time was ruled by the Shikken (Shogunate Regents) of the Hōjō clan, who had intermarried with and wrested control from the Shogun of the Kamakura Shogunate after his death in 1203. The inner circle of the Hōjō had become so preeminent that they no longer consulted even the Hyōjō (評定) (the council of the shogunate of the Shogun), nor the Imperial Court of Kyoto, nor their vassals (gokenin), and made their decisions in their private meetings at their residences (寄合 yoriai).
This question is still open and I assume you don't need it to be. After all, it's been 2 years. Lol
