There is a wedge of pie that is 1/8 of the whole pie. This wedge was cut into 2 equal pieces with the same area. This cut was not from center to edge to make two narrower wedge shapes, but instead it was cut from side to side, forming a triangle and a 4-sided wedge shape. How far from the corner of the wedge (center of the circle) should this cut be so that the 2 resulting pieces would have the same area?
