How do I factor this? p^2-x^2+6x-9

OpenStudy (allank):

You could put like terms together p^2+(-x^2+6x-9) then do factoring for the stuff in the brackets. We can't do much for the p^2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@allank I got p^2-(x-3)(x-3)

OpenStudy (allank):

It should be p^2-((x+3)(x+3))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok now what

OpenStudy (allank):

That's it

geerky42 (geerky42):

p²-(x+3)²

geerky42 (geerky42):

Is this clear yet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea
