how do i graph -x - 2y = 6

Put it into y-intercept form so that it's simpler to plot out. Because really all you want out of this is to be able to pick an x and easily see which y-coordinate you get so that you can plot it on a graph.

x=-6-2y

let me put y=-2

x=-6-2(-2)
x=-6+4
x=-2

(x,y)=(-2,-2)


Don't try to be stupid,rather you should put any values of y(As you wish ) and find x
