Find the slope tangent to the curve at (3, 2/9) \[y=\frac{ \sqrt{10-2x} }{ 3x }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know how to find the derivative? They are basically asking for \(y'(3)\).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so y'(3)=-7/54? What about 2/9?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The 2/9 is necessary information. All you really need is the x value, because the derivative gives you the slope with respect to x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First, find \(y'(x)\). Then plug in 3. Just giving me a number isn't going to convince anyone.
