OpenStudy (campbell_st):

is there any information about parallel sides like AD// CD?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope :\

OpenStudy (mathmate):

It does look like some information is missing, although AD cannot be parallel to CD.

OpenStudy (mathmate):

We can find two equations in terms of the common side BD, and the congruent sides AB and CD using the cosine law. We need a third equation to find x.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well it can be shown as an inequation \[6x - 14 < 52\] this is because the sides opposite the angles are 28 and 32 so the angle 6x -14 must be smaller than the angle of 52 solve the inequation for an answer.
