Magnetic field due to current can affects a compass. If we use alternating or direct current, explain how magnetic field will differ for both cases. Explain the relationship between dictance and magnetic field strength.

the difference will just be ,in case of alternating current the magnetic field is time varying.. the rest of the formula(dependent on distance) will remain same
