Which describes a consequence of the viking raids into other european countries? The invaded countries built up their armed forces but couldn't compete with vast number of viking raiders. The invaded countries were unified after banding together their armed forces to defeat the vikings. The vikings condemned the practice of christianity and persecuted Christians in the region for several years. The vikings helped establish the culture of the region by blending together Norse influences with Christianity and other traditions. @ghazi
