it will depend on the voltage source your are using. if the voltage source is good enough to accommodate two bulbs, and since you have connected in series the bulb will not go dim. if voltage is less than the voltage required for 2 bulbs then it will go dim.

hm...yea thats right. but if the two bulbs are connected in series like above then if one bulb fuses,then the other bulb will also not light up because the circuit is in series ,so same current flows through the circuit. Am i right? or wrong?
