I love the statements given on your first blog post. I think of mathematics as a good medium to increase the students' imagination. However, the concept of high-school mathematics is the worst created in history. It makes the students perceive that mathematics is just another obstacle for the A grade. 

No mathematical thinking is involved in the process of high-school mathematics; this is highly in contrast with our university-level mathematics.

Students should be encouraged to think, and think, before they get to a solution. =)
