What is the range of possible values for x? The diagram is not to scale.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

you need to look at the sides opposite the angles opposite 34 is a side of length 30 opposite an angle of 2x is an angle of 22 so 22 < 30 then the angles must follow the same rule 2x < 34 solve for x hope this makes sense...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i need to solve for 2x < 34

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

for the answer just solve 2x < 34 simply divide both sides by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so x = 17

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x<17

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

no you need the inequality and to set up the range... the angle can't be 0... so the range is 0 < x < 17 so the value of x can be between 0 and 17 for it to be true

ohhh thanks ever much heres a medal
