Am I Right? The given measurements may or may not determine a triangle. If not, then state that no triangle is formed. If a triangle is formed, then use the Law of Sines to solve the triangle, if it is possible, or state that the Law of Sines cannot be used. C = 37°, a = 19, c = 8 I think that the answer is The triangle cannot be solved with the Law of Sines.

OpenStudy (phi):

can you show your reason?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin(A) must be from 0 to 1 and a+b<c a+c<b b+c<a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry just check the sides :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I took 8/sin37, 19/sinANS, and then sin-1(ANS) and it gave me an error. Assuming that it could not work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I'm wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are right. sin(A) is greater than 1, so a triangle can't be formed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh I see what you mean. since sin(A) was something like 1.4. I see. Thanks again bro.
