okay so i have an infected finger and further down my finger theres a painful bump really soft. does anyone know what it may be ?

I was thinking it might be an "abscess."

An abscess is a small bump that's filled with pus.

They usually form whenever we have an infection.

The only thing that makes me think twice is that you say it's further down your finger.

Is it not really close to spot where the infection is?

im thinking it might be a blood clot down your finger
