You can check your self by putting
(20,3)=(x,y)
in your equations and check
L.H.S=R.H.S
If
L.H.S=R.H.S then you did it right
If not you are wrong :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i cant L.H.S=R.H.S for something i got no solution on. can you just tell me weatherr or not im making a mistake please?
OpenStudy (hba):
There is a solution i guess.
hartnn (hartnn):
there is a solution,
from 2nd equation, you get -x+y=-2
now add this to 1st equation, and you directly get the value of x.

ookk thanks

Welcome :)
hartnn (hartnn):
and your solution to 2nd system is also incorrect.
OpenStudy (hba):
^ Yes.
OpenStudy (precal):
no solution means that the equations are parallel
