solve by completing the square, what value should you add to each side of the equation? x^2+20x=-4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In order to complete the square, you must satisfy the following formula: \[a^{2} + 2ab + b^{2}\] If 2ab = 20x and a=x then, b=10 so you have to add 10 to the both sides.
