Find equation of angle bisector of the pair of lines

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

lines are given ? or this is a general question ?

OpenStudy (dls):

\[\LARGE 2x^2+5xy+3y^2+6x+7y+4=0\]

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

so,,did you find out which 2 lines it represents ?

OpenStudy (dls):

partial diff..example

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Equation \[\frac{ x^2-y^2 }{ a-b } = \frac{ xy }{ h }\]

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

ohh..i see.. there must be a way to do this using partial,,i didnt learn that.. i always did it the conventional way..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just Plug the Values and Solve

OpenStudy (dls):

ellab?

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

conventional way is the given eqn is a quadratic eqn in x or y, using quadratic formula solve for any one.. i prefer y.

OpenStudy (dls):

bisector kaise

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a = 2 b = 3 h = 5/2

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

bisector abhi nahi ayega,,pehle lines ki alag alag eqn nikalni hogi.. lamba method hai..par hamesha aasani se strike kar jata hai, like now..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5/ 2 (x^2 - y^2) = -xy 5x^2 - 5y^2 = -2xy 5x^2 + 2xy - 5y^2 = 0
