I am new to MIT opencourse, but would be interested in taking - how bugs trick our immune system. I am just trying to figure out how you obtain the readings??

Sorry, I haven't been on here in awhile, but I was able to obtain most of the readings by putting the name of the journal in a search engine. All of the articles from JEM, for example, are available online. The ones I wasn't able to access became accessible when I used the guest Wi-Fi at a public university, so if you have any trouble finding them I would recommend doing that.
