OpenStudy (hba):

Post it in the appropriate portion please.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You have \[F=\frac{ 9 }{ 5 } \times C + 32\]Solve for C, and then plug in 50 for F.

hartnn (hartnn):

it would be easier if you first plug in F=

hartnn (hartnn):

*F=50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the answer

hartnn (hartnn):

why don't you tell us what you got the value of C as, and we'll verify whether its correct or not....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i will

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so far i have 18=9/5C am i on the right track

hartnn (hartnn):

absolutely! no multiply 5 on both sides. or you can divide by 9 on both sides first.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C=10

hartnn (hartnn):

absolutely correct! very good :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^_^
