find product (x+3)^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Basically you need to use foil

What the problem really is is (x+3)(x+3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Take the first terms from (x+3)(x+3) and that should give you x^2 then the outer terms which are x & 3 and that should give you 3x then the Inner terms 3 & x that should give you 3x again then the last terms 3 & 3 which would give you 9 So your answer should be x^2+6x+9 the 3x's we combined.

Did that help any?
