OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Think of absolute value as the distance from a number to zero on the number line. It may be zero or a positive number, but never negative. It's hard to understand what your problem is. Can you type it?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The shift-\ key is the absolute value symbol. It's just below the backspace key.

OpenStudy (zehanz):

I think it is -2*|5|*3*|-4|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so -2 times 5, and 3 times 4. then multiply those two together...

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

c

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

yup its sometimes faster if u answer the question by ur self

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Ok. The -2 at left stays -2 bec there is no abs value. The absolute value of -4 = 4, so you have -2 x 5 x 3 x 4. Multiply all the numbers out and the result is negative.

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

lol :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah i agree...
