You will simply be using a kinematics equation here: \[V =\Delta X \div \Delta t\]because velocity is the relationship of distance over time. Simply plug and chug to get velocity. Once you find velocity, simply use another kinematics equation: \[V _{f} = V _{o} + at\]Do a little algebra to get "a" on one side and you should have: \[a = \Delta V \div \Delta t\]This is because you are dividing "m/s" by "s" which is m/s^2 and therefore acceleration. Plug and chug to get acceleration. Hope this helped.
