Help???? 2. A quadrilateral has vertices (5, 3), (5, –1), (–1, 3), and (–1, –1). What special quadrilateral is formed by connecting the midpoints of the sides? (1 point) rectangle rhombus kite trapezoid

OpenStudy (mrdoe):

from just glancing at the points, you should get a get a rectangle.

OpenStudy (sirm3d):

@MrDoe is right, the points are vertices of the rectangle. BUT... @Nikkibaby71410 try drawing ANY rectangle, then connect the midpoints to form a quadrilateral, then describe what it looks like.
