For this function state: a.) If it is exponential or decay b.) the rate of growth or decay c.) the y-intercept f(x) = 123(0.95)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Where is your variable?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its supposed to be 123(0.95)^x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When you have the variable in the exponent it will be exponential growth if the number raised to the variable is greater than one. Ex. y = (1.3)^x It will be exponential decay if the number raised to the variable is between zero and one. Ex. y = (0.5)^2 So you need to look at the number being raised to the power to determine if it is growth or decay.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is the variable (0.95)^x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The variable is x (variables are always letters). Look at the number raised to the x to determine if it is growth or decay.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it is decay?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what about the rest @novagirl114
