the line that is described by the equation y=-4x+1 contains which of the following? A) (0,1) B) (-3,1) C) (1,3) D) (-2,-3)

OpenStudy (anas.p):

Its simple really, Just apply one of the co-ordinates and check if the other one is the answer you get. As in let us take the first co-ordinates. A)(0,1) Let us apply x=0 in the equation in y=-4x+1 \[y=-4(0)+1\]\[y=1\] This satisfies the equation, So A is your answer.
