When you see composite functions you need to think of it as two different problems.  The inside and the outside.
So for the first one:
$$(gof)(x)$$
Is going to first be 
$$f(x)$$
And then the answer for that will go into 
$$g(x)$$
When you do not have a value for x it can be tricky.
Take the f(x).
$$f(x)=6x-3$$
Now the value that you have will be plugged in where the x is in g(x).
$$g(f(x)) = \frac{ 1 }{ 3 }(6x-3) +5$$
And then you simplify the right side.

It is complicated when you do not have a value for x, so make sure to take your time and write out each step so you do not forget something.
